Cafe de Paris  - lovely food at a reasonable price
Le Moulin Pizzeria - excellent pizza
La Pizza, 48 Quai de Caligny (not to be confused with Pizza Caligny) - excellent pizza but more excellent moules frites by the old harbour
La Regence - great atmosphere
Le Scapin - have a beer on the terrace in sight of the Theatre de Cherbourg

The Master Builder’s - pub grub

The Spaniards - moor up to their buoy and row ashore.

Cowes

The Folly Inn - dancing on the tables

Dielette

L’Escale - next to the harbour office - unlimited Moules Frites. As much as you can eat.

Gosport

The Castle Tavern - loads of excellent grub

Guernsey - St Peter Port

La Perla Restaurant - excellent value
Le Petit Bistro - looks great, good food, poor service and pricey
Crabbie Jack’s - on the west coast - well worth a visit

Hamble - Burlesdon

Museum Brasserie - very pleasant to sit out on a fine summer evening on the lower terrace
The Royal Channel Island Yacht Club - take a cab or a bus to the end of the bay. Excellent view even at night!

The Ocean Bay Restaurant - moor up to a buoy and run ashore

Weymouth

The Nothe Tavern - great food
Perrys - good view over the harbour - pricey
The Ship Inn - pub grub upstairs

Yarmouth

The Bugle Coaching Inn - good pub grub and real ales
The George Hotel - fine food and views of the West Solent
The Gossip’s Cafe - best breakfast overlooking the pier
Shenanigan's  -  untested but looked like good value
